Positive Disclosure Requirement



In line with Bank Negara Malaysia's (BNM) Guidelines on Unfair Practices in Insurance Business, the following information is given to comply with the positive disclosure requirement.

  • Under Section 150 of the Insurance Act 1996 you are required to disclose any matters which are relevant to be disclosed to the agent / insurer that could affect the decision making in regard to the acceptance of risk or on the application of appropriate rates and terms.
